Springfield Private Workshop Registration Only.

Workshop Instruction: 

Miki will lead 5 hours of instruction for 10 participants on throwing large jars on the wheel, October 24-25, 2026.

2.5 hours in the morning and 2.5 hours in the afternoon.

Proposed studio/instruction times:
10:00 am - 12:30 pm
Lunch break
2:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Studio open until 7pm.

Included:
- all clay tools provided 
- practice clay available
- optional: clay for purchase if taking work home, $30 per 25lbs or $15 per 25lbs reclaim clay
- optional: bring your own clay, but cone 10 only regardless of color or type
- bisque firing negociable

House and Studio Rules:

- Indoor slippers or socks. No shoes are allowed indoors in the residence area.
- Studio shoes must only be used in the studio. Separate outdoor shoes recommended to not track dirt into the studio.
- Studio smock that stay in the studio recommended. No clay dust is allowed in the residence area. A proper wipe down with clean wet sponge is required before leaving the studio.
- Studio clean-up is mandatory at the end of each day. Clean wheels and mop floors.
- Common area hours: 9am-8pm. Common areas include studio, kitchen, living room and outdoor deck. The house/studio will lock down at 9:00 pm.

Liability Waiver:

Workshop participants who attend agrees to the items above and shall indemnify and hold harmless Workshop Host and volunteers from and against: 

• Any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, defense costs, or liability of any kind or nature related to injury to or death of person, or damage to property as a result of, arising out of, or in any manner connected with Host performance under the terms of this agreement.

  • Any damages to property and equipment incurred by the participants will be billed to the group for reparations.

• Please provide all participants’ names and email address for consent. 

• Participation in the workshop is automatic consent to the proposed terms.

Refund Policy:

- 100% until 2 months prior to event.
- No refunds in part or whole will be remitted for cancellation within 4 weeks of event’s start date
- In the event that the Host cancels, 100% refund will be issued or raincheck dates will be honored.
